Common questions.
Is Klaviyo only for ecommerce?+
Klaviyo is primarily built for ecommerce and works best with a Shopify store. For service businesses, I typically recommend other platforms — Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, or similar — that are better suited to non-transactional email. I'll tell you honestly which is right for your situation.
My list is very small — is it worth setting up?+
Yes — it's better to set up flows properly when your list is small than to try to retrofit them later when you have thousands of subscribers. Klaviyo is free up to 250 contacts, so there's no cost reason to wait.
I'm currently using Mailchimp. Can I migrate?+
Yes. Migrating from Mailchimp to Klaviyo is straightforward and I handle the whole process — list export, segmentation mapping, and making sure you don't lose any contact data or properties.
Do you write the email copy?+
For initial flow setups, I write the copy for the core flows. For ongoing campaigns, I can either write the copy or work from your briefs. We'll agree on what works best for your business.
