Common questions.
Do you use page builders like Elementor or Divi?+
No. Page builders add layers of extra code to every element on every page, which is one of the biggest reasons WordPress sites end up slow. I build custom themes using the native block editor instead.
How is this different from a cheap WordPress template site?+
A templated site starts from someone else's design and code, then gets bent into shape with plugins. This starts from your business and gets built to fit — same design and performance standard as a hand-coded site, just on WordPress.
Can I edit the content myself after launch?+
Yes — that's usually the whole point of choosing WordPress. You'll get trained on how to add and edit pages, and the site is built so that's straightforward rather than a fight with the editor.
Can you take over an existing WordPress site?+
Yes. I can audit what's there, clean up the plugin stack, fix speed and security issues, or do a full rebuild that preserves your existing rankings and content.
Do you build WooCommerce stores?+
No — for ecommerce I work with Shopify, which is the right tool for most Irish online stores. WordPress here is for brochure, service and content-led sites.
What about hosting and ongoing maintenance?+
I'll recommend a fast, reliable WordPress host and can handle ongoing updates and maintenance if you'd rather not deal with it yourself — a small monthly arrangement, no markup on hosting costs.
