A marketer who actually ships.
For the last four years I have worked with owner-led businesses in Cork and across Ireland. The pattern is usually the same: a good business, a website that is getting in the way, and marketing nobody is paying attention to. My job is to fix that.
How I ended up here.
I started in-house, working on websites and ad campaigns for a fast-growing Irish ecommerce brand. I learned what good marketing actually looks like under real pressure. Small budgets, tight deadlines, and a board that wanted answers, not jargon.
I moved into agency work, ran teams, then quietly realised the bit I cared about most was the work itself. The strategy, the build, the measurement. Not the layers around it.
So I went independent. Now I work with a small group of clients who want someone senior doing the work, not managing a junior doing the work.
Small numbers, real work.
I keep a small client list on purpose. Every engagement gets real attention from a senior operator, not a project manager and a junior on the account.
Most marketing problems are not marketing problems.
They are usually clarity problems. About what the business actually offers, who it is for, and why anyone should care. Get that right and the channels start working. Skip it and no amount of ad spend will save you.
A few principles.
Direct
You deal with me. Not a junior, not a project manager. The person doing the work is the person you are paying.
Honest
If something is not working, I will tell you. If I am not the right fit, I will tell you that too.
Measured
Decisions come from the data, not from what is fashionable this quarter.
Long-term
Most of my clients have been with me for years. That is the goal.
