Website redesign · Ireland

Website redesign services for Irish businesses

Your business has moved on. Your website should reflect it. I redesign existing sites around clearer content, easier journeys and the actions that matter, with a plan for the pages and search visibility you already have.

What's included

A redesign built around customers.

Audit before design

I review the current site, its important pages and how people use it. We identify what is working, what gets in the way and what the redesign needs to achieve before agreeing which pages to rebuild.

Clearer page structure

Visitors should understand what you offer, where you work and how to take the next step. I plan page layouts and navigation around those questions, with a content brief for the information only you can supply.

Mobile usability

I check layouts, menus, forms and key actions on smaller screens. The aim is a site people can actually use on a phone, with readable text, clear buttons and fewer obstacles between interest and enquiry.

SEO migration planning

Existing URLs and useful content need a deliberate plan. I map changed addresses to relevant destinations, review metadata and internal links, and check the sitemap so launch does not quietly discard the site's foundations.

Performance & functionality

A faster-looking design is not enough if the form fails. I check page loading, images, contact routes and agreed integrations, then test the important customer journeys before the new site goes live.

Handover & measurement

You get the files and access you need, plus guidance on common updates. We agree how to measure enquiries or purchases and what support is included after launch, so the next stage is clear.

The process

Keep what works.
Fix what does not.

A redesign should solve a business problem, not just replace a colour palette. I work directly with you from Cork, helping Irish businesses decide whether they need a focused improvement or a wider rebuild. Scope, content responsibilities and launch arrangements are agreed before the build starts.

  • 01

Discovery and scope: record the current pages, useful search traffic, customer journeys and the specific outcomes the project should improve.

  • 02

Structure and design: agree the page plan and visual direction, with a clear list of content, images and feedback needed from you.

  • 03

Build and review: develop the site in a preview environment, check the agreed functionality and resolve issues before launch approval.

  • 04

Launch and follow-up: take a recoverable copy, apply agreed redirects, check live pages and tracking, and monitor for issues after release.

Questions

Common questions.

Do I need a full redesign?+

Not always. If the structure is sound and the problem is a weak service page or a broken form, focused changes may be enough. I will review the site before recommending a rebuild. My conversion rate optimisation guide explains how to identify a useful starting point.

Will I lose my Google rankings?+

No redesign can promise unchanged rankings. I reduce avoidable risk by reviewing valuable pages, retaining useful URLs where practical and mapping necessary changes. Google's site-move guidance explains why migrations need preparation and monitoring. If ongoing search work is needed, we can scope SEO support separately.

What platforms do you work with?+

For brochure and service websites, I work with hand-coded sites and WordPress where it suits the publishing needs. For ecommerce, I work with Shopify. I do not build WooCommerce stores. Existing integrations and how you update content help determine the right route.

How long does a redesign take?+

Most website projects take four to eight weeks, but a redesign needs its own assessment. Page count, content, integrations and approvals affect the schedule. I will give you a timeline for the agreed scope before starting, including what you need to supply.

How much do website redesign services cost?+

The quote depends on the number and type of pages, the platform, content work, integrations and migration requirements. I separate the build from hosting, paid tools and ongoing support. You will know what is included and how additional work is agreed before making a decision.

Can I keep my domain and existing content?+

Yes, where that is the agreed plan. A redesign does not require a new domain, and useful content should not be discarded casually. We agree what is retained, moved or updated. Domain ownership and any hosting or email changes are checked as part of planning.

What happens after launch?+

We agree the support period, handover and any ongoing maintenance before launch. You own the site and accounts. If you want regular help afterwards, the scope should be clear; the guide to website maintenance costs in Ireland covers what to compare.
