Your first visit
What to bring, how long to stay in, and how to do the sea dip safely.
Websites for Irish sea saunas, wood-fired saunas and ice bath studios. Live availability, booking in a few taps, and the local SEO that puts you in front of people searching "sauna near me".
I built and run saunasinireland.ie, the directory of every sauna and ice bath in Ireland. Checking each listing meant reading the website and booking page of every venue on it. I know what makes a sauna easy to book, and what sends people back to Instagram.
A concept for a made-up sea sauna, Brinehouse Sauna. Live availability is the homepage, a session books in three taps on a phone, and first-timers get the answers they need before they arrive. Go ahead and use it: pick a day, choose a session, and book it on the phone.

You're booked
Scroll inside the browser window, pick a session, then finish the booking on the phone.
Every session shows how many places are free. People decide faster when they can see the slot they want is still open.
Session, guests, pay. Add-ons like towel and robe hire sit inside the booking, so the extra spend happens without a conversation.
What to bring, how long to stay in, how cold the sea is. The first-timer questions get answered before they become a reason not to book.
A lot of Irish saunas still run on an Instagram bio and a booking link. That works until people start searching on Google, comparing two or three places, and booking whichever one makes it easiest. The question on their mind is simple: is there a space when I want to go, what does it cost, and what do I need to bring?
Live session availability on the site itself, with spaces left, not just a link out to a booking page
Booking that works with what you already use: Bookwhen, Acuity, SimplyBook.me, Fresha or similar
Clear prices and session lengths, with towel and robe hire as add-ons inside the booking
A first-visit page: what to bring, how long to stay in, changing, and how to do the sea or ice dip safely
Directions that work: the exact pier or beach spot, parking, and what to do if the weather turns
Gift vouchers sold online and emailed instantly, which matters most in November and December
Private hire and group enquiries for birthdays, teams, hen parties and corporate wellness days
Google Business Profile, reviews and tracking on the booking button, so you can see which pages bring in sessions
Sauna bookings are made quickly and on a phone, often the same day. The site that answers the practical questions fastest gets the booking.
Show the next free session and how many spaces are left. "Message us to check" loses the same-day booker.
Most new customers have never done a sauna and cold dip. A short, friendly first-visit guide turns nerves into a booking.
"Sauna near me" and "sauna + town" searches are growing fast. A proper site, Google profile and directory listings put you in them.

Each type of session gets its own page, written around the way people search for it, from "sea sauna Wicklow" to "ice bath near me" to "sauna gift voucher".
We look at how people find you now, which sessions sell out and which do not, and where bookings drop off between Instagram, Google and your booking page.
A fast, mobile-first site built around availability and booking, connected to your booking system, with your own photos of the sauna and the setting.
Launch, set up Google Business Profile properly, and track every booking click. Then local SEO for the town and county searches that bring new people in.
Building Saunas in Ireland meant checking the website, booking page and Google listing of every sauna on the island. The same problems came up again and again: prices only in a PDF or an Instagram highlight, booking links buried in a bio, opening hours that did not match Google, and no word on what to bring.
None of that is hard to fix, and fixing it is what turns a curious scroller into a booked session. A sauna site that shows the next free slot, the price and the first-visit basics converts the people who would otherwise message you and wait, or book somewhere else.
Pairs well with local SEO for "sauna near me" searches, or see the main web design page for the full picture.
Instagram is great for showing the sauna off, but it cannot rank on Google for "sauna near me" or "sauna" plus your town, and it is clumsy for prices, times and booking. A simple website catches the people searching, answers their questions, and sends them straight into your booking system.
Usually, yes. Most sauna booking tools (Bookwhen, Acuity, SimplyBook.me, Fresha and others) can show sessions and spaces left on your own site, either embedded or styled to match. Which approach is best depends on the tool you use, and I will tell you honestly if switching is worth it.
The one that handles capacity per session, takes card and wallet payments, and lets people book in a few taps on a phone. If you already have one that does that, keep it. If you are starting out, I can recommend a couple that suit small saunas, based on how you run sessions and private hire.
Through three things: a well-set-up Google Business Profile with good reviews, a website with clear pages for your sessions and location, and listings on the directories people use. Together they put you in the map results and the searches for your town and county.
Yes, and listings are free whether or not we work together. If your sauna is not on saunasinireland.ie yet, or a detail is out of date, you can send it in through the site.
A typical sauna website runs in the low-to-mid four figures depending on booking integrations, gift vouchers and how many pages you need, with optional monthly SEO after launch. Clear quote up front, no hidden retainers. The site stays yours.
Tell me a bit about your sauna and how people book today. I will come back within a working day, with honest thoughts.
