Ecommerce websites built to sell.
Custom ecommerce web design for Irish DTC brands and online retailers. Shopify builds engineered for conversion, speed and search, with growth marketing layered on after launch.
A new Irish DTC label launched on Shopify with a custom build, brand foundations, Klaviyo flows and a paid acquisition strategy that did not burn through the seed budget. Same playbook applied across multiple ecommerce clients.
Everything your business actually needs.
Most ecommerce websites are slow, generic, and built around the brand's preferences rather than the shopper's. The result is a beautiful homepage, a clunky product page, a leaky checkout, and a founder wondering where the budget went. I build ecommerce sites that fix that. Custom Shopify, designed around the actual buying decision, tuned for speed, and wired into the marketing tools that grow revenue after launch.
Custom Shopify or headless build, no recycled themes that look like every other store
Mobile-first design tuned for thumb-driven browsing and one-handed checkout
Product page templates built for conversion (clear pricing, real photography, reviews, trust badges, sticky add-to-cart)
Collection and category pages structured for both shoppers and Google
Checkout streamlined for fewer abandoned carts, with Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay enabled by default
Core Web Vitals tuned, lazy-loaded imagery and a build that loads in seconds on a 4G phone
On-page SEO foundations and proper product schema baked in from day one
Klaviyo and analytics wired in so you can actually see what is selling and what is not
Three things that move the needle.
Pretty stores lose to fast, frictionless ones. Every decision is weighted against speed, clarity and conversion.
Built for speed
Lightweight Shopify build, Core Web Vitals in the green, and a checkout that loads on a flaky train signal.
Built for checkout
Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay and a streamlined flow. Fewer steps, fewer abandoned carts, more revenue.
Built for SEO
Proper product schema, clean collection structure, and content pages that bring in shoppers without paying for every click.
Built for the way you actually sell.
From single-product launches to multi-collection retailers, the structure flexes to the catalogue and the customer.
Three steps, no faff.
Strategy
We agree the catalogue structure, the brand story, the audience and the commercial goals before a single pixel gets drawn. No surprises later.
Design and build
Custom design and a clean Shopify build with frequent check-ins. Product templates, collection pages, checkout and the supporting marketing pages, all built around conversion.
Launch and tune
We ship, then we measure. CRO tweaks, paid traffic, email flows and SEO content layered on over the following months. Revenue compounds.
A faster store is a more profitable store.
Every extra second of load time on a product page costs you conversions. Every confusing form field on checkout costs you orders. Most ecommerce sites lose more revenue to friction than they ever lose to bad marketing.
A properly built Shopify store removes that friction. Faster pages, clearer products, smoother checkout and email and ads flows that compound. The same traffic, quietly producing more revenue, month after month.
Pairs naturally with Shopify development, Klaviyo email and paid acquisition. Have a look at the main web design page for the full picture, or the Shopify training if you would rather run the store yourself.
Common questions.
Do you only build on Shopify?+
For most Irish ecommerce brands, Shopify is the right call. It handles the boring, expensive parts (PCI, hosting, payments, scale) and lets us focus on design, conversion and growth. For genuinely complex catalogues or unusual flows we will look at headless or custom, but I will only recommend it if the business case is real.
Can you migrate my existing store from WooCommerce, Wix or Squarespace?+
Yes. Most of my ecommerce projects are migrations onto Shopify from older WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace or BigCommerce stores. Products, collections, customers, orders and SEO redirects all get moved over carefully, with no loss of search rankings.
How long does an ecommerce build take?+
A custom Shopify store typically takes 6 to 10 weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on catalogue size, custom features and how quickly content and feedback come back. Migrations of large catalogues sometimes run a little longer.
What does it cost?+
A custom Shopify build typically runs in the mid four to low five figures depending on scope, plus Shopify's monthly subscription. You will get a clear quote up front, with no hidden retainers. The store stays yours.
Can you handle Klaviyo, Google Ads and Meta Ads after launch?+
Yes. Most ecommerce clients roll into a growth engagement after launch covering some combination of Klaviyo email and SMS flows, Google Ads, Meta Ads and ongoing CRO. The same person who built the store runs the growth, which keeps everything joined up.
Will the store work for international customers?+
Yes. Shopify Markets handles multi-currency, language and regional pricing properly. Whether you are shipping nationally, into the UK and EU, or globally, we set the store up so checkout feels local wherever the customer is.
